As diabetics, we often struggle to find the perfect dessert recipe that will not spike our blood sugar and make us feel guilty. But don't worry I got you. I have the perfect recipe. It's delicious, nutritious and most importantly it won't spike your blood sugar. it's a win.
so let's get to it.
The ingredients:
1/2 banana.
1table spoon Chia seeds.
1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder.
1 cup of plain yogurt.
First step, grab a bowl and smash the half banana with a fork until it becomes creamy .you can use a blender but it's not really necessary.
In the second step add your cocoa powder and mix well. The cocoa powder will thicken the mixture and regulate the sweetness.
Add the plain yogurt and the chia seeds and mix.
It's optional but you can add a few drops of water or milk. 🥛
Leave the mixture few hours to let the chia seeds absorb the liquids and double in volume.
You can top it with strawberries or nuts or whatever you like to decorate or just leave it like that 🍓🍒🍧🍨
